Patrik Sandell Claims Silver Medal at X-Games
August 3rd 2013 – Drive Motorsports International client, Patrik Sandell claims Silver Medal at X-Games in LA for the first Gymkhana GRID.
The decorated Swedish Global RallyCross driver, who races for Ford, had a blast this weekend and barely lost out to Tanner Foust claiming his first X-Games Medal!
The Gymkhana GRID event is new to X-Games this year and was developed by stunt driver and fellow RallyCross racer Ken Block based off his Gymkhana videos to showcase precision driving skills in a competitive format. The drivers race head-to-head through two mirrored, twisty, obstacle laden courses, with competitors having to race each track at least once in the best of three contest.
