November 11, 2010 Gainsco / Bob Stallings Racing Sign With Drive Motorsports International

November 10th 2010 -Gainsco / Bob Stallings Racing, one of the strongest, most respected sports car racing teams in the Grand-Am Rolex Series, has hired motorsports marketing agency Drive Motorsports International to oversee business development, strategic planning and sponsorship consulting for the team.

DMI will additionally support the Gainsco no.99 Red Dragon team by identifying assets, developing market sales processes, potential partner identification, negotiation and activation solutions.

Working with Team Owners Bob and Linda Stallings and the Gainsco Insurance Team, Drive Motorsports International will work to bring aboard new business partners whose brand message and commitment to success equals that on the Gainsco/Bob Stallings Racing Team.

Since entering the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series midway through the 2005 season, Gainsco/Bob Stallings Racing has amassed a career performance record comparable to teams that have raced for decades. In just 80 career starts through the 2010 season, Gainsco/ Bob Stallings Racing won nearly one fifth of the time and, incredibly, finished in the top five in more than half of its races with a total of 48 top five finishes. The achievements are even more impressive when you look at the combined record of Gainsco’s lead drivers Alex Gurney and Jon Fogarty. The teammates have co-driven to each of Gainsco/ Bob Stallings Racing victories and ended 2010 in third place and Series Champions in 2007 and 2009 and second in 2008. The drivers are recognized as one of the most successful duo’s in Daytona Prototype history. The teammates have finished on the podium exactly 35 times through 2010.The Gainsco/ Bob Stallings Racing team is in the top three for highest duration of on-screen exposure per race. Year to date Gainsco stands as one of the highest brands in terms of duration across its entire racing inventory with over 300 minutes of on-air exposure (total TV coverage).
