BackJan. 20th 2012 – Izod IndyCar Driver, Katherine Legge has secured a multi-year, multi-million dollar primary sponsorship through TrueCar. TrueCar is an innovative automotive marketplace solutions provider for both buyers and sellers – with a focus on women.
Katherine also recently announced her signing at Jay Penske’s Dragon Racing Team. Katherine is the first woman to capture a major open-wheel victory in North America, winning three races and finishing third in her rookie Toyota Atlantic Championship year. She moved to the Champ Car World Series in 2006 & 2007, later she was awarded a Formula 1 test with team Minardi.
Before her move back to the US, Legge competed in the ultra-competitive DTM series as an Audi factory driver, where she gave ex-Formula 1 competitors a run for their money in the high end series.
